How to use

Disconnect charger and loads
Work on the pack with everything disconnected.

Connect the balance leads in order
Wire each lead to its cell in the order marked on the board, and check each with a multimeter before plugging in.

Mount and switch on
Fix the board where air can reach it, then switch it on.

A 4S active balancer for 4-cell series lithium packs using LiFePO4, Li-ion, ternary lithium or LTO cells. Instead of wasting extra charge as heat, it redistributes energy between cells at up to 5.5A, working harder when the voltage difference is larger, and keeps cells within ≤5mV. Built on a 2OZ copper PCB for good heat handling from -10°C to 60°C, with a sleep mode that cuts standby current below 0.1mA. 1-year warranty.
