Does this model change to backup power automatically?
No. This model is manually operated. Use the marked I / OFF / II positions and the source labels fitted by your electrician. Choose an automatic/manual model if you require automatic changeover.
Is this the single-phase or three-phase version?
This is the single-phase, 2-pole version, rated 63A. Other transfer-switch listings in this family have different pole counts, current ratings and operating modes; check all three before ordering.
Can I connect a generator or inverter as the backup source?
A compatible AC backup supply can be used as part of a correctly designed single-phase installation. Ask your electrician to verify its voltage, frequency, output capacity and wiring arrangement. The switch selects a source; it does not generate or store backup power.
What does the middle OFF position do?
The centre position disconnects the switched output from both selected sources. It does not prove that all incoming terminals are de-energised. Installation or maintenance must follow appropriate supply isolation and verification.

The amiciSmart 63A dual power manual transfer switch is designed to select between main and backup AC supplies in a single-phase installation. It is a two-pole changeover device for homes, shops, workshops or commercial panels where its ratings and installation requirements match the application.
Direct control with I / OFF / II positions
The linked handle selects one of the two sources, with a centre OFF position that disconnects the switched output. Follow the I / OFF / II markings and the source labels fitted by your installer rather than assuming an up/down direction.
