How to use

Wire with the power off
Connect the PT100 probe (2-wire or 3-wire) and the RS485 bus lines as marked on the board.

Power it correctly
Supply 8–25V DC with the correct polarity.

Set up communication
Give each module a unique address, use 9600 baud by default, and read with function code 03. Check a reading against a known reference before process use.

PT100 RTD to RS485 Modbus RTU Transmitter, 8–25V DC, -20°C to 400°C
A PT100 RTD temperature transmitter module that converts a PT100 sensor signal into RS485 Modbus RTU data for PLC, SCADA and other control systems. It runs on 8V to 25V DC, reads -20°C to 400°C with 1% accuracy, and works with 2-wire or 3-wire PT100 probes. It reports both temperature and PT100 resistance, uses function codes 03 (read) and 06 (write) at a default 9600 baud, and up to 247 modules can share one bus with unique addresses. 1-year warranty.
